The girl holding the Turkey Day sign is 15 years old and homeless. She is homeless with her parents who are watching her paint. They came in today for a meal, to participate in the Bible study and to get warm clothing. Both parents have jobs, they just fell behind on bills and lost their home. They all stay in different places at night to comply with shelter rules. She is fifteen and is a ninth grader at a local high school. She spends her time outside of school with her parents looking for a place to get a meal and for a place to do her laundry. The second photo is of loving volunteers praying for a young homeless man who was attacked and beaten when he was sleeping in the woods. His foot is broken and in a cast and he walks on it daily from his camp in the woods to a soup kitchen. He is looking for a job and is having a hard time finding someone who will hire a homeless man.
