The girls and I dropped our honey off at the State Fair today. I learned about honey judging for sure....we most likely wont win any ribbons this year but I was encouraged by the compliments we did get. A. Use glass (plastic affects the clarity) B. No labels (they dont have a commercial class...he loved our label though) C. Bring a new fresh lid with you to switch out. (Honey on the lid underneath takes points off) D. Wipe off glass before going in and wear gloves so there are no finger prints. Next year well be prepared to kick some bee butt!
