The glory of God distinguishes God from all other gods, lords and gods. The glory is the essence of God, not the gloom, nor the darkness. The light attracts, and God takes us. His reality is the power, energy miracle, grace, truth, light, beauty and splendor. The shining glory is His identity, breathtaking beauty, the mark of a living God and incomparable. It defies all artificial gods and their wooden effigies saying, "To whom will you compare me, that I like him" (Isaiah 40: 8, 25 and 46:5)? Since the sun is light, God is fame, but the living glory.
