The goal is to get at least 100,000 faith-motivated youth (mainly teenagers and 20-somethings) to pledge to become advocates for protecting the environment. Can you sign the pledge and then share it with friends? worldwildlife.org/YouthPledge Those who sign WWF’s online pledge will receive simple monthly actions they can take – like being more conscientious about recycling, buying environmentally-friendly products, and using Facebook to let their friends know about certain environmental issues that are important. Nearly half of our global population is under the age of 25. Think of the difference people in this age group could make if they became advocates for the environment. If this generation steps up, change will happen! Also, it would be great if they could share their thoughts about any connection they see between their religion/faith/spirituality and protecting the environment. The stories can be in the written word, or in the form of photos and videos. We would love for them to post the stories on Facebook and Twitter, using their own accounts. We may use them on our website. To send them to us, go to: worldwildlife.org/YouthStories Thanks so much for passing the word along.
