The gods gave you evrything,but you let yoursalf be lured into long spell of senseless and sensual ease. Tired of being on the heights, you deliberately went to the depths in search of a new sensation. What paradox was to u in the sphere of thought, perversity became to you in the sphere of perssion. You grew careless of the lies of other peaple.you took pleasure where you wer pleased and passed on, and you forgot tht evry little action of the common day makes or unmakes character. And tht therefore what one has done in the corner, one has some day to cry aloud from the house-top. You ceased to be lord over yoursalf. You were nolonger the captain of your soul and you did not know it. You allowed pleasure to dominate yo lyf and you ended up in horrible disgrace.....
