The good news and good deal is that, for now, ‘targeted limited use of force’ on Syria by the most powerful country on earth has been put on hold. Rhetoricians may be tempted to say, that is President Obama at his best: ‘look at the videos (referring to the victims of the alleged gassed attack on Aug 21st in Damascus) ‘and say that the U.S should attack the Syrian regime’. My take is that, [president Obama is still trying to convince Americans that the U.S should not coil itself blindly perhaps in the name of ‘we are not’ affected while Syrians are systematically, strategically, and chemically gassed by a quixotic regime.
