The good news is that Im alive and uninjured. The other good news is that Travis The Goofy Dog is also alive and uninjured. The bad news is that I hit a deer on I-10 West tonight in the middle of nowhere, left the road, and ended up down a ravine. So the vehicle is a bit under the weather lets just say. For tonight Im stranded in a motel in the thriving metropolis of Ozona, Texas and the motel is surprisingly significantly less scary-looking on the inside of the room than it looked from the outside. But for now, Im exhausted and will re-group in the morning. Meanwhile, at least Im in better shape than the deer. If anybody wants a free deer, its on the side of the road at mile marker 334. RIP.
