The good thing about multiculturalism, is we can come together as a species and check up on each other. You know what? Sometimes a society does things it shouldnt. Sometimes it needs someone from the outside to point it out. Sometimes, there are already people within that society who think it is a bad idea but they need external help to make their voices loud enough to make change. Political correctness -can- go too far. I read about FGM when I was a child, amusing myself with a stack of Chatelaine magazines. I cannot believe this is still going on. I thought for certain that now that this horror had been brought to light, it would be stamped out. Sometimes I miss the innocence of my childhood.
