The government code of practice by DEFRA states: Page 8, section 5: Your dog is required to wear a collar and identity tag when in a public place. Collars should be of the correct size and fit, and should not cause any PAIN or DISCOMFORT. If using a microchip as a form of identification, remember to keep the microchip database up to date with any changes in your contact details. Animal welfare Act 2006 states: Section 9,2,e: 9 Duty of person responsible for animal to ensure welfare (2)For the purposes of this Act, an animals needs shall be taken to include— (e)its need to be protected from pain, suffering, injury and disease. With this taken into account we demand that the sale and use of these barbaric collars be banned immediately! PLEASE HELP US GET THESE BANNED AND SIGN THE PETITION.
