The government funds solar energy claiming it is efficient, inexpensive and practical; not a single government building in any sun rich areas (in/near deserts). Billions get wasted on a known failure. Hydrogen (the most common element in the Universe) ion engines have been proven to be hyper cost efficient, produce excessive amounts of energy and have proven to work under extreme conditions (Deep Space I) yet the government refuses to invest in the technology. What does this say about our government and its interests?
