The government of Jamaica can’t protect its revenue by not - TopicsExpress

The government of Jamaica can’t protect its revenue by not granting license to private bus operators. I have taken steps to ensure that the JUTC complete fairly, if the government is loosing revenue it needs to provide a more efficient, more effective service, and complete fairly; competition and innovation are two of the main important factors in any market economy. The private sector can complete with the government, if they provide a more value added service they should not be afraid of losing their license to the JUTC. In the delivery business Federal Express complete with the United States postal service and they deliver better quality service, and the US government didn’t denied them lesions. If the private sector provides better quality service than the JUTC then the government can’t complete through denied license to the private drivers. What policy is that when it is the government that is not been supportive the employed, They rather use legislative power to stifle competition so they can better protect they revenue, competition give consumers option, so let the Jamaica government step aside and let consumers make they own choice. Private drivers have all the rights to take the JUTC to court.
