The governor Kericho county, H.E Prof Paul Chepkwony, has said his government will rehabilitate a 250 metre deep borehole in Tugunon village of Chepsir. The governor said the borehole can serve population of upto TWO million people. He also said a landmark water tank will be built at the highest point in Chepsir where water from the borehole will be pumped. He said part of the ksh1.7 billion grant meant for water projects that was recieved from the German government will be used. He said this while attending a funeral for Ester Kikwai, the mother of Deputy governor H E Susan Kikwai.
