The govt, schools, roads and more are all OURS. This country - TopicsExpress

The govt, schools, roads and more are all OURS. This country belongs to US. When you work for the public sector, your professional time is OURS too. When you are a teacher, principal or coach, you work for the students that roam the halls between classes no differently than I work for the people I insure or a pizza place owner works for the customers he serves. Civil Servants: ACCEPT YOUR ROLE! Dont like it? Feign for yourself in the private sector (as if SO many in the public sector ever could). Our schools, run by a public sector whose primary mission is to take and grow more, constantly tries to limit our rights and program our children to accept their rights limitations. That is how socialism flourishes. Dont let it happen. Dont enable the establishments encroachment of our childrens civil liberties. The breadth of expression, even in public schools, is virtually limitless, unless speech is creating material disruption to the educational process...” - A. Friedman Moreover, we cannot tolerate their twisting our protections against them to serve themselves. This young mans assignment was to write and read a poem. If it did not create material disruption to the educational process (however controversial it may have been), its the young mans rights to freedom of speech and expression that we need preserve. Thats the LAW. His educators should be held accountable for compromising them. The idea this young man could bully a coach and another player through a poem is preposterous, yet he was suspended for FOUR days, kicked off his football team and his permanent record is now tainted. Meanwhile, Bradley Manning is heralded as courageous for whistle blowing govt security secrets to WikiLeaks??????? Really?????? We need listen to and applaud every young persons example of expression that reveals their concerns. Boldness is NOT destructive. Defiance is NOT relevant. The tastes are NOT to be disputed. fxn.ws/1fWDdPb
