The grand finale of the Vertical World Circuit (VWC) 2014 took place this morning as part of the Race to Hong Kong ICC, where 1,200 runners climbed up the city’s tallest skyscraper in the second and final stage of the SHKP Vertical Run. Defending champion Suzy Walsham dominated the elite women’s division, winning both the event and the VWC title. Fellow Aussie Darren Wilson took gold in the men’s race, but Piotr Lobodzinski’s third-place finish was enough to make him VWC champion this year.
