The great thing about crowdfunding is that it lets wacky ideas see the light of day; ideas which some rational product designer would have thought unsellable and therefore not worth investing in. Platforms like Kickstarter allow people to vote with their wallets and help otherwise niche products come to market. After my stroke, Ive since re-learnt how to type on the Dvorak right-handed layout, but Ive been looking for a good way to get back into gaming again. However, the currently available accessories are not suited for me. Im using a Razer Naga Epic with the number keypad on the side of the mouse mapped to movement and action buttons for FPSes but its not ideal. That and the current D-pad/keyboard combos out there are all designed for left hands. So tough luck, until I saw this on Kickstarter today. Im backing one unit for the right hand. Really hope it delivers on the promise since its already reached its funding goal.
