The great virtue of the free market is that it fosters peace and cooperation amongst its participants. When you go grocery shopping, you generally do not know whether the products you buy are made by individuals of a particular race, gender, religion, ethnic group, etc.--and it does not make a darn bit of difference. So long as economic agents can create value for others, they will tend to put aside these personal differences--that might make them hate one another--in favor of mutual gain.
