The greatest NFL running back of all time. Never missed a play or a game due to injury, although he got thrown out of one in the 3rd quarter, after he had already rushed for over 200 yards, for an alleged punch in response to a punch and/or racial slur from an opponent. He is the only NFL RB to average > 5 yards per carry AND > 100 yards/game over his career. When he retired he held nearly every rushing record and he played when seasons only 14 games. Now RB seasons are 16 games plus playoffs. Jim retired at the age of 29 when he probably could have played another 7-10 seasons. Also actor and civil rights activist.
