The greatest gift this Christmas is the gift of giving to those most in need. Each year, the Boys and Girls Clubs of MetroWest conduct an Adopt-A–Family Program for the Holidays. They select a number of their families in each of their three Clubhouses in Marlborough, Framingham and Hudson and work with partners like DCU to provide Holiday gifts for families that might otherwise not be able to afford these gifts. The Boys and Girls Clubs of MetroWest provided information on the families including age and gender and a gift list that included some things that the families could use. Often times these lists included many basic necessity items such as blankets and clothing. This year, DCU team members from EVERY area of the credit union adopted families. Teams collected money, went shopping, wrapped hundreds and hundreds of gifts and because of their kindness and generosity, twenty-nine families will be celebrating a very special Christmas.
