The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians: who acknowledge Jesus with their lips, walk out the door, and deny him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable. Its amazing to me how true this is. Whats even more amazing is the fact that we as Christians have yet to do anything about this issue. Ive been dwelling on so much lately; how often I fail, lack wisdom, and ignore truth. Guilt is one of the worst feelings out there. But we dont grow based off of how we feel. Growth takes place in the lives of those who fear God and recognize the need for Him in their lives. We fear because we trust God. We love because He first loved us. We are called to live with the bold confidence that we are who He has declared us to be. We are not defined by what we have done, but rather defined by how radically beloved we are. Stand firm in the faith. Let your actions reveal what you believe. The world should look at you and know of your undying love for God. Through your trials and mistakes, dont be discouraged. Learn, love, and grow. Keep your fire burning. Acknowledge Jesus, walk out the door, and PURSUE Him. Dont rest until all the world knows of Christ and the beautiful grace we are given. Even then, keep pressing on. And if the world hates you for this, let em hate. So, yeah. Just sayin.
