The ground was soaked with autumn rain; the bright moon highlighted clouds that promised more soon. I breathed deliberately. I was exhausted from the gym, exerting myself against iron and gravity. It was a good work-out: no Personal Records, but solid work. I changed my routine a little and lost 14 pounds recently. I intend to continue. Tree frogs serenaded each other. The wind was cool against my skin, evaporating my sweat. I thought of a girl I used to know.
