The grounds for my opinion are as follows: 1-After careful research on the Syrian rebels, I found that an overwhelming majority are Foreign mercenaries from Libya, Turkey, Palestine, Pakistan and Chechnya. These groups are funded, trained and equipped by foreign nations who have interests in Syria. 2-The Assad Government is waging war against these militias and Foreign mercenaries, not its "Own people" as the media would have us think. 3-The Assad Government was taking back areas seized by the rebels, and was close to completely chasing out these armed groups when the latest Chemical weapon attack happened. This attack clearly serves the agenda of those who wish for deposing Assad. It begs the question, "Who would gain from such an attack?" Clearly not Assad. 4-The Rebels have been committing war-crimes themselves. From public executions of Assad supporters, to forcing teenagers to behead POWs. There are even videos of Syrian rebels testing out different gasses on captive rabbits. This situation is so much like Libya. We find that there is a overwhelming majority supporting the current Government in power in Syria, we find well funded and well trained mercenaries inciting violence, starting riots, killing people and instilling fear in the population. Then when the "undesirable" and "evil" government reacts, the media portrays it as a crazed Tyrant killing his own people for nothing, its just some crazy dude killing people for shits and giggles. The masses, not being particularly bright, eat up the mass medias portrayal, they then develop a sense of hatred for the leader who is being offered up to cull our sense of "doing something", (because we are perpetually depressed and really want to feel better about ourselves). We know nothing about the guy, nor his politics, we just know he is evil and we are good, so therefore, its ok for us to bomb and kill thousands of more people, cuz hey, "Were just trying to help!"
