The hacking trial put the Suns bizarre and self-contradictory - TopicsExpress

The hacking trial put the Suns bizarre and self-contradictory politics under the spotlight like never before. Here is a paper that demands lower taxes then damns public services for not being able to deliver due to lack of resources; screams for an entirely deregulated economy, then whines about the economic crisis caused by deregulation; wants to abolish nearly all of the state, but then rolls out the Union flag when the state goes to war for oil, markets and cheap labour; foams at the mouth for military invasions of any and all foreign countries, but then claims to be defending soldiers that die in utterly pointless wars. Of course, its readers have to take responsibility for reading it, when they could put Murdoch out of business at a stroke if they wished.
