The halo around the sun as I observed on Wednesday in New Plymouth. My lens wasnt wide enough to capture the whole halo, so I took 3 separate shots and used Microsoft ICE to stitch the images, as Photoshop CS 6 wouldnt stitch the images at all. I find MS ICE very inconsistent, although it was able to stitch the image it produces different results, I had to stitch a fair few times until I settled with this one. (I still wasnt satisfied but is probably the best the programme can do) Each image is taken with Canon EOS 650 + Tamron 18-270mm at 18mm. ISO-100, f/16, 1/500sec, no filter used. During post-process I bumped up the contrast and lowered exposure slightly. I also adjusted vibrancy & saturation a little bit. Any tips would be appreciated ~
