The hardest part about the car accident and its affect on my life is not the loss of my vision but the loss of the many opportunities that have come my way since. The weekend after my accident I had an interview with UMOCA and had to cancel while I was still in the hospital. The day before my most recent surgery I had an interview at the Natural History Museum for an events position, I got it. But I could not start immediately complicating things and have yet to hear back from them. The day after my surgery this last week, I got a call from the Museum of Fine Arts asking if I could start the following weekend, they were very impressed with my resume apparently and werent interested in an interview, they had the paper work ready for me. But by the time I was better they had filled the position. That was an awkward conversation...Not to mention the scholarship offered by Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design that I had to turn down. It makes it that much harder to move on when it is constantly holding me back. I dont care that I am blind in one eye. I just want to be doing what I love. I can only hope its for a reason...
