The hardest part of this aircon that I made today is getting the snapper fish smell out of the Styrofoam box. A soapy scrub and spray with eucalyptus seemed to make the kitchen very fragrant. Constructed for $12- with fish box, (Thanx to embers restaurant skip bin) upright fan from Burnings, 3x water bottles (Thanx Lauren Williams- I stole them from your car) 4x bolts with washer. Temperature outside on the back step .. off the scale ...50 C 120 F +++ (radiant heat from bricks etc..) Easily fry an egg sorta temp anhyoo.. temp in my kitchen ... 25 C .. or 78 F .. Check out the pics.. sooo easy to make
