The hardest thing for me right now is wanting to see positive change, and not wanting to see all of this negativity everywhere. I dont want to be ignorant. Yet, I understand the fundamental truth - trust me, I understand - that nature is in need of our co-operation right now. She always has been. She always will be. But when I visit Facebook, my Facebook feed is just absolutely filled with scare-mongering information from environmentalists and I honestly dont feel that it will lead to good change. Fear never creates a good environment - this is how weve come to live how we live today. For fear of not having. For fear of trust. So then, being aware of the issues, I think today I decide to opt out of the negative people in my life, regardless of their intent, and bring the positive people more into the centre of the light, into focus. I dont believe this is ignorance. I will always listen. I am choosing the option that empowers myself to bring more positive change to the world. So far that has been by hanging out with good people, in good places, learning in real environments, enjoying myself. Enjoyment brings appreciation and appreciation brings respect and protectiveness. So... here I am. Ready to go swimming again.
