The hardwood floors of the Jesus movement were revealed as nothing much more than splintered planks of lost hope for so many when Jesus failed to return this past 30-40 years. Looking for a great escape from this world they failed to understand how to live in it and find Gods love and kingdom already here. Many have abandoned their faith not because they were not well trained and taught to recognize the signs of the times, and constantly being reminded of prophecies of the book of Daniel and Revelation by the heavy hitters of last days teachers and teachings. Not because they were not Gods to begin with. In fact, wherever they are today, they are still His. They have walked away because that was the fundamental underpinnings of all the teachings they were taught from scripture. It shaped a great deal of the way people conducted life and made important decisions such as marriage, business and education. Often with devastating results that affected many lives. Ask me and I can tell you. You dont have a lot of endurance to run a race course built, based and designed on the premise of escaping Gods wrath and judgement and an endless looking for Jesus to return in the clouds but never getting a clear revelation that you are securely in Christ and blessed without having to get raptured out of your troubles... Glad the Father picked me up out of the pit of the past and put my feet in at least this essential truth Christ in you the hope of glory ~ralphbrier
