The heart and soul of a dog is truly amazing. After starvation, abandonment, shear neglect they can still wag their tail and tell you everything is going to be ok. Well this is how our sweet Gabby is. We embraced her with sadness as she wears the scares and damage on the surface. Her emaciated state although not rare but never the less shocking, when we can see what someone, a human can do to a beautiful soul its shocking……. She comforted us. Yes she cuddled in and licked our faces. She expressed dont worry, everything is going to be alright. Even with the harm and damage that has happened to her she is a ball of love. Just pure love. It is amazing that unconditional love survives in such a cruel world. She has already forgotten her horrible past and is now enjoying high quality food, medical attention, love, a very comfy bed and friends. The sadness will soon be gone, she will feel strong and healthy and all of her bones will soon disappear from view.
