The heart bleeds for the home country as the Ebola virus continues to wreak havoc. We continue to hope and pray that things improve. Having said that one must shake the head at the Western medias typically blinkered and ignorant response. Todays strident headlines claim that African athletes are asking to remain in the UK, even though the request was made by athletes of ONE country: Sierra Leone. Botswana , Uganda, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa etc are all African nations competing at the games with absolutely no Ebola concerns . Africa is not a single country! Man tire sef.
