The heat is on with another hot and humid air mass building into Southern Manitoba tomorrow. The temperature will reach around 28°C with increasing humidity, making it feel more like the mid-30s by the end of the afternoon. A warm night with the temperature barely dipping below 20°C will be followed on Saturday by an absolute scorcher as temperatures soar into the low 30s and the humidity keeps building. Humidex values are likely to reach or exceed 40 on Saturday, making it likely that the province and/or Environment Canada will issue a heat warning for the day. There will also be multiple threats for severe thunderstorms.
