The height of mendacity by Western media has again played out in - TopicsExpress

The height of mendacity by Western media has again played out in the New York Times online report of December 25th on a death penalty for a man accused of anti-Islamic blasphemy in Mauritania. The news item is clearly a relay from Reuters, and that only aggravates the disappointment in both media organizations for such monumental error crudely and maliciously published. The report malphrased what shouldve been expressed as the Mauritanian made blasphemous comments on the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (Sallal Lahu Alaihi Wasallam) but it falsely described Muhammad (SAW) as the founder of Islam. Calling Muhammad (SAW) the founder of Islam, as did the New York Times and Reuters, is in fact another blasphemy; for he never founded Islam, he only continued and sealed its perennial sequence in which Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses and Jesus the son of Mary (peace upon them all) had preceded. That Muhammad is a Prophet and follower of Islam, not its founder, is a fact even non-Muslims of average general knowledge know very well; so how come purportedly credible media bodies of the New York Times and Reuters standing lack this very basic knowledge? Shame on them both! Shame on them for this staggering ignorance! And lest I forget, little bird told me all media practitioners should have average general knowledge before they are qualified to report events. Too bad they never do!
