The highlight of our day was having lunch with Lilas OR nurse, Denise. Last year Denise gave us updates from the OR while Lila was in surgery. After surgery, Denise came to see us every day she worked while Lila recovered in CVICU. She is an extra special nurse to many families. This evening we enjoyed dinner provided by Sophies Heart at the Ronald McDonald House. Sophie has the same defect as Lila and Dr. Hanley also did Sophies surgery. Every month Sophies family provides dinner to families at the RMH. After dinner, Lila enjoyed playing in the back yard here at our home away from home. Tomorrow and Tuesday we will be at the hospital for Lilas heart cath & lung scan.
