The highlight to my day today is the seniors special event at the Cinema. I really enjoy them. We prepare cake, biscuits, tea, coffee etc. We have chairs set out for them, a table and then when they come in we make them a drink and offer the cake and biscuits and make them comfortable. They are genuinly nice people and lots of fun to be with. I enjoy their company and so does Kaa. She and I serve them (mostly Kaa does) and we chat to them and make them comfortable. I check out the Cinema that the seniers are going into (they have to be over 65 years old to be classified as a senior) and if it needs cleaning I get to it. We may sure that the Cinema is warm and comfortable for them. And they enjoy this special occasion of fellowship with one another. Some arrive 3/4 of an hour early for the event. It is a really happy fun tme for all of us. I try to ge tthe door for them too so that I can hold it open for them. All the best from James M Sandbrook.
