The hip replacement surgery this morning preformed on Bishop - TopicsExpress

The hip replacement surgery this morning preformed on Bishop Ronald W. Gainer, of the Diocese of Harrisburg was successful. The operation took place at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. The surgery was performed by Dr. Richard Boal of the Orthopedic Institute of PA. According to Dr. Boal Bishop Gainer did great and he has been moved to the recovery room. Bishop Gainer expects to be discharged from the hospital within a few days. He hopes to resume a part time schedule in approximately one month, following physical rehabilitation. Prayers of thanksgiving for the successful operation and a speedy recovery are welcome.
