The history of these artifacts is fraught with ethical problems. I - TopicsExpress

The history of these artifacts is fraught with ethical problems. I do think there is *perhaps* a way to display them in the name of historical education and an appreciation for unmediated documentation of the art form, but only when permission is granted from the culture from which they came. But what are essentially souvenirs of a brutal moment in colonial encounters just languishing in storage rooms should absolutely be repatriated! Thoughts?
