The holiday season is officially underway... The stores have boiled custard, people are planning their Black Friday shenanigans, and I have peanut butter & chocolate oatmeal cookies making. :-) And, as per tradition, I screwed up the first batch. LOL I tried to do the recipe from memory & did the two cups of milk... Whoops. :-D Heres my personal recipe... Peanut Butter and Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies 2 c. sugar 1/2 c. milk 1 stick butter 2 tbsp. cocoa 2 tbsp. peanut butter 2 c. quick oats, uncooked 1 tsp. vanilla Combine sugar, milk, butter and cocoa in a saucepan; cook over low heat until mixture boils. Boil 4 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter, oats and vanilla. Drop from teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper and let cool.
