The horse trailer is home. $500. the metal alone is worth more. It is a 1974 20. 1 owner, now I am the 2nd. Rust was very minor. Half the rust was actually dirt. All the welds are intact. I had to cut some of the middle section metal and the welds were impossible to cut through. I had to cut around them. I have rewire everything including driving lights.no wires are hidden. all run along the C-channel frame. Very simple to work on this. I used a round rock to pound out the dents in the nose. Bodywork is simple Replace a bunch of rivets, fix rust, prime, paint, replace floor, then wire. I install the plumbing and insides. the wiring will have 200+ watts solar on the roof, 2-4 battery bank, a generator, and 110v & 12v outlets. All kinds of inverters, converters, fuses, chargers, monitors, etc. have to be wired and integrated. After it is wired, I have to insulate, and panel the insides. This project will cost me a base price of $2500, plus $1000 in extra electrical gear. the trailer itself without wiring will cost only $1500 total to be restored. The rest is electrical. I dont have to go as far as I am going, but this is my tiny House, and not a step on the way to a tiny house, so I am doing it right.
