The how and why do protest becomes riots is partly do to ignorance of civic duty, activism, how to deal with antagonism, and how magistrates deal with civil disobedience. I think to often when a protest happens the police force ceases patrolling their district to perform a show of force, which is the wrong thing to do. What ought to be done is to continual patrols, and set up observational towers in conjunction with plain clothes collecting data in the crowd. The police ought not to engage the crowd if it is not trespassing, or committing criminal acts, because that antagonizes the situation, and turns the protesters against them. What happening is a failure of the school system and the police academy. Its about synergy, and harmony in a republican form of government not hostility between the bureaucracy, and the populates.
