The hubs and I were telling the kids not too long ago that we didnt have remotes that our TVs had a dial that had the capacity to turn to 13 channels. When our parents wanted the TV channel changed they yelled for one of the kids. I cant tell you the number of times I was summoned to change the channel and for the most part it wasnt a bad task unless Pa didnt know what he wanted to watch and then it became excruciatingly painful because we would have to flip it back and forth a couple of times before he would decide. I learned to leave quick because it was only a minute or 2 and he would be issuing summons again for channel duty. Back then if we lost the remote it meant we lost a kid so we took it pretty serious. Today we are spoiled now we summon our kids to hand us the remote. LOL
