The human being in Gaza deserves that we stop by and read the extraordinary stories that have been written by those who have experienced the difficult days: Imagine yourself receiving a phone call from the Israeli Army ordering a forced eviction of your own house just 10 minutes before it is bombarded. Just picture this scene in your mind, 10 minutes is what it takes to wipe out your small history on this planet; your presents, the photos of your brothers, sisters and sons, the things you love, your chair and books, the last poetry collection you read, the message you received from your expat sister, your memories with the loved ones, the smell of your bed, the many times you gently touched the Jasmine tree from the western window, your daughter’s hair clip, the warmth of your seat, your old clothes, your prayer mat, your wife’s gold, and your life savings. All this passes in front of your eyes in 10 minutes; all this pain and bitterness just flashes by and stuns you. After all this you now have two choices, either to take your identification papers, put them in the metal sweets box and leave the house to die a thousand times, or stay in to die once….
