The human being is designed to eat at the head, through the mouth, digest the food to obtain the nourishment, and release the waste product at the other end. Its very important that people understand this process, because if they use either end for the opposite process, its not conducive to well-being. The same goes for intellectual understanding of complex concepts. When we are dealing with the only Jewish nation on earth attempting to defend itself against perennial, unceasing attempts to remove it from the face of the earth, the though processes analyzing these facts must come from the head. If one pulls slogans or ideas from any other part of the body, it is not likely to be conducive to a preferable result. With this in mind, we must view the statements of J-Street, the continued anti-Israel statements of J-Street, who cite the demonstrations in Europe and around the world and call out for peace as if they had never left the sixties. Many of them are in or approaching their sixties, but that doesnt mean its appropriate to adopt the archaic philosophies of the sixties. I have been watching carefully the demonstrations in Europe that so motivate J-Street sympathizers. They havent, because they do not pull their thoughts out of that end of the body. To begin with, it is readily apparent that the majority, the overwhelming majority of the demonstrators are overwhelmingly Moslem immigrants who swarmed into Europe for -- as Europe will learn -- the ultimate goal of turning Europe into part of the anticipated world-wide Moslem caliphate that will not just be judenrein but free of Christians and other infidels as well. Secondly, if you listen to the chants, and look at the slogans, sure, you will see some pro-Palestinian signs. But you will see very quickly that free Palestine is intended not to provide freedom as we understand it in the west, but to rid Palestine of Jews, so that Sharia law will be imposed -- hardly the freedom misguided leftists think these demonstrators are seeking. Across Europe, they chanted, Hamas, Hamas, send the Jews to the Gas. Not the Israelis, mind you, the Jews.The reference to the gas chambers, of course, was to an era in history prior to the existence of Israel. In Germany, in Berlin, one heard and saw, Jews, Jews, cowardly pigs, come out and fight. In Paris, the signs said, Death to the Jews and Hitler was right. Does this really seem like protests to protect the poor people of Gaza? An Imam in Berlin proclaimed kill the Jews, to the very last one. Theres a peaceful religion for you, right? Thats not a politician, thats a religious leader. Has any Christian or Jew reading this ever heard their Priest, Minister or Rabbi proclaim the need to wipe out another ethnic group? In the Netherlands, the Chief Rabbi has had his home stoned twice in a single week. To the best of my knowledge, the Chief Rabbi of the Netherlands has never been involved with the IDF. “They are not screaming ‘Death to the Israelis’ on the streets of Paris. They are screaming ‘Death to the Jews’,” said Roger Cukierman of the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France. In Liège, Belgium, a Turkish shop owner displayed a sign in his window that read: “Dogs are allowed in this establishment, but Jews are not under any circumstances.” Jews have been attacked around the world, in Ankara, Paris, London, Los Angeles and New York, not Israelis, Jews, while those thinking with the wrong portions of their body think that if they sing Kumbaya with the tiny portion of the Palestinians that are not anti-semitic, flowers will bloom on the piles of rocks that were once Jewish homes in Sderot, Paris, and virtually every Moslem country in the world. Thought must come from the brain. For that to happen, the brain must calculate based on all available data. When thought comes from the heart it is emotion, not thought. It is not based on reality but wishful thinking. When the Jews walked into the gas chambers seventy years ago, they sang Ani Maamim, I believe with perfect faith in the coming of the Messiah. He didnt come. They died. Contrary to what J-Street may believe, Jews will not live unless they take action to live. That is reality. You cannot eliminate that reality with emotion or wishful thinking. Striving for peace is a worthwhile goal. It is the ultimate goal of every Israeli. Every Israeli. But, according to the latest University of Haifa poll, 96% of Israeli Jews understand that before that goal can be reached, Jews must do whatever they can to avoid being exterminated by virulent anti-semites and an ignorant world. Never again. Never.
