The hypocrites in the era of the companions were worse than those in the era of the Prophet ﷺ. Allah said to His Prophet: %7B هُمُ الْعَدُوُّ فَاحْذَرْهُمْ %7D “They are the enemy, so beware of them.” [Al-Munāfiqūn 63:4] Ḥudhayfah said, “The hypocrites today are worse than those in the era of the Prophet ﷺ.” So how about the hypocrites of our era? Surely we know if we look at ourselves our relationship with Allah and His message the Quran, and through knowledge and strict implementation of the Quran and Sunnah.
