The idea for Ubuntu and Android for improving the security of password. they can use in combinations or by themselves alone, please respect my copyright: 1. User and computer program play a game of Mastermind, computer suggest one, user rate it with how many completely accurate, how many right no but wrong position, how many complete wrong with random symbols or no...etc. Maybe within 4 to 6 turns the computer will reveal he whole password. 2. Similar in 1 except computer make one suggestion then user rate it; User suggest one and computer rate it...etc/ 3. Similar in 1 except it is all user who suggest it. 4. Computer generate matrix with no like these: ABDC M1234 N2516 S4718 F9127 which contain users password, user locate it. To increase the difficulty of blind guessing, the symbols for location of password is in captcha. 5. Two or multi-stage captcha(A+B-C=password..etc), user enter the locations in each Captcha of the no that would make up the no. We can mix locations data with numberic operation. 6. For Android, allow password with alphabet or Chinese or language of user. It respect the culture of user and much easier for user to remember. Many distribution of Linux allow user to use a mix of no and letter, with the advent of UTF as the standard font, there is no reason we cant use our language to input our password. That also widen the knowledge gap between hackers and user. 7. Given a table of random association from no to alphabet, user enter alphabet instead of no, the association change every time so it cant be easily guessed. (Or it could be linear and continuous as original keyboard, just it is not necessary that 1 is start with a and 9 is end with z. ) 8. This is just for Ubuntu: Convert no into associated symbols like in English letter then user specific input method such as quick in scim-Chinese as a character in Chinese. The association is random. 9. Given an association between 10 random letter/symbols and 10 no, user express their password by moving the locations of the letter/symbols in simple arithmetic operations like A+B or B-C...etc. Either in the original order of the password, or in random order suggest by the program, or in order provide by the user then use suggest it using the symbols using simple arithmetic operations or directly. 10.
