The idea of giving the Chao Lin sisters voices was one that began when me and Linwood Askew worked on our 2D studio team project Amelia and the Chao Lin sisters. Brittany Butts originally provided the voices only because she was the only one that could sound remotely how I envisioned they would sound at the time. Fast forward about 6 months later, I did not expect to have them say anymore dialog again. But then I heard Olivia improvise her take on both sisters. She does both brilliantly. Annie needed to sound just like what she is, a small, busy, intellectual, upbeat 17 yr old girl. Because has to put up with the constant burden of her little sister, absurd friends and chaotic urban environment, she would also need to carry an air of sharp authority, uprightness, and even a bit of snarkiness in her dialect. Which was well delivered on Olivias part. :)
