The idea that the story of Jesus Christ is a carbon copy of the - TopicsExpress

The idea that the story of Jesus Christ is a carbon copy of the story of Horus can be convincing. I realize that and I understand that. However, there are a few things that I think we need to remember. First, as the documentary stated, Jesus was not born on December 25. Historic documents show that he was born in what is now August or September. The whole reason why Christians celebrated His birth on December 25 is because they wanted to honor the birth of their God on the same date that other religious sects honored the birth of their pagan gods. This is one of the dangers of Christians attempting to fit in. I wrote a blog post about it on DreamBigMinistries.wordpress. Secondly, we have a tendency to underestimate the enemy. Yes, we have victory over him, however he is still a spiritual being which means he is outside of our realm of time and space. He knew the birth of Christ was coming. One of his most grand schemes was to duplicate the story of Jesus 400 years before Jesus even got here. That said, the question becomes how can he duplicate something that didnt already exist? The same way someone steals an idea or concept and publishes it before the original author or creator. If that original author shows that the very idea was stolen, then the guy who thought he was getting away with something revolutionary is found guilty of plagiarism. Just because it is released first doesnt mean its total truth. All it means is that the next guy was trying to be the first guy and this is exactly what the enemy has wanted all along: to be number one. As powerful as the enemy thinks he is, there is at least one power that he does not have and thats the power to create. All he can do is repeat and duplicate and we keep falling for the same tricks millennium after millennium after millennium. #HIDDENCOLORS
