The idea that todays dissidents will have more success strikes me as the sheerest wishful thinking. It sounds dour but how else are we to interpret things? People are all so happy and dont mind that so many things are out of their control and there is hardly any of these devices that they can fix. Not the dishwasher, not the car, not the phone. We throw are hands up and say its out of my control and so it is with the political process and the way we are manipulated via economics. We know the process is rotten but we still vote? We know the currency is worthless but we still use it. We know the cards are marked but we still play the game.
