The immediate past Commissioner of Commission for Human Rights and Administration of Justice, CHRAJ Justice Emile Short, says he left his official residence of the CHRAJ Commissioner in a habitable state. According to him request for renovation was not made while he occupied the property. Former CHRAJ Boss said the renovation was initiated when the current Commissioner took office. The current Commissioner, Ms Lauretta Lamptey said on an Accra FM station that renovation of official residence alocated to her was initiated before she took office. This follows Daily Graphics revelation that the state spent $203,500 was spent on her hotel bill. This woman is heading an institution that is supposed to fight corruption and the misuse of our money.
