The impression I cant help get is that Michael Brown was no choir boy. He was no Trayvon Martin minding his own business. Brown was menacing and apparently a very angry guy. Describing him merely as an 18 year old black teenager is like calling King Kong a chimp. Personally, I think this guys behavior most likely placed him in harms way, not the color of his skin. I also think its a stretch to suggest the police were attempting to assassinate the character of Brown; what is, is. The kid seems to be a bully and to harbor considerable aggression. My speculation is that he, like many overdeveloped kids, are used to getting their way by intimidation. This kid was no Trayvon Martin; correlations between the two incidents would be inappropriate, I think. I can understand rage and discontent but not the lawlessness that has come in the wake of this tragedy. The community has made its point; time to let the wheels of justice take over and to return to their homes. The officer is as much a victim as anyone, and I dont doubt that Brown assaulted him. Im a big fan of Politics Nation and its host, but I think he should get his ass out of there and back to the studio. This plays into the hands of the supremacists and the right wing radicals whose inflammatory rhetoric pushes the buttons of that segment of our population who are convinced that a race war is inevitable. Violent clashes, rioting and demonstrations retard civil rights and the pursuit of equality and justice. Go home people, call it a day!
