The left spends huge amounts of time attempting to disprove the obvious. It simply cannot be denied: higher prices, all else being the same, reduce demand. As applied to wages, higher prices = fewer jobs. Those who get the raise are happy; those who lose their jobs -- or never get them in the first place -- dont know where to place the blame. Its an ideal leftist program: the beneficiaries are happy, the victims dont realize they are victims.
