The incumbent Ms. Frazier has filed as a write-in candidate for Commissioner in District 1. The message from the voters in District 1 was clear on June 24th, as I soundly defeated her in the primary election, and Team Wantz is prepared for a victory in the general election in November. Sort of feels like the movie Groundhog Day! This is a minor inconvenience as we move forward, and I am sure this is seen as a distraction by Ms. Frazier, as I have been out daily, talking to folks and discussing the issues that are currently facing our citizens, and our government. In an article in the Carroll County Times on July 7th 2014, there was this quote about Fraziers comments. Frazier said she doesnt feel its fair to lose in the primary and then get a second chance in the general election, even though her supporters are urging her to do so. The election is on election day. It already happened Frazier said. Its not in the spirit of fair elections. This is just one example of the incumbents campaign rhetoric, that has proven to be unpredictable at best.
